Easier/Harder to Raise Kids Today
The nation overwhelmingly believes that it is harder to raise children than it was when they were growing up.

Parents and Grandparents vs. Non-Parents
Grandparents and Parents with children under 18 years of age are more likely to think raising a child is "Much Harder" than when they were a child.
- Fathers are less likely than Mothers or Grandparents to feel it is "Much Harder" raising children today than when they were children.

Why Easier
Although only about one in ten think it is "Easier" to raise children today, those who do explain most frequently that there is "More money, double income" (5%) followed by "superior products and technology" (2%).
