News from the 2004 Playing for Keeps Conference in Washington, D.C.

Co-Chaired by Barbara Bowman, President Emerita of Erikson Institute and Jerome Singer, Professor Emeritus at Yale University, nearly 300 educators, scholars, researchers, toy industry leaders, child life specialists, children's museum leaders, and other human service providers joined Playing for Keeps in Washington on October 7-9, 2004 for Playing to Learn, Learning to Play: Why Play Matters for Today's Kids.
